Gabriel came to the hospital with us today, although he did not want to on the basis of “it takes too long to get there”. I gave him the option to stay at home but he was on one of those days that he will do anything as long as it is together with mommy… cute! Chris was so happy to see Gabriel, his face really does light up and when Gabriel is around and when Chris hears Gabriel’s voice… you can just tell Chris is really happy through his laughs and smiles.

My mom and Gabriel went to pick blackberries in the woods so I spent a lot of good quality time with Chris. After the normal hygiene stuff and flossing and brushing, I put one of his favorite CD’s (Brazilian Jorge Ben Jor) and worked very hard on his arms: rotation of shoulders (forward, upward), massages all over, specially each single finger of his hands, stretches etc … all to the tap of the music and for most of the CD duration. I was able to get him to relax his shoulders and got a really good workout out of Chris - and me!

I was sweating and sore afterwards and I think it also really tired Chris out because as we sat in the backyard in the sun… he was closing his eyes while enjoying the sun and the wind in his face. Then he would open his eyes and smile to my talking, kisses and hugs, and then close his eyes. He was not falling asleep, but just closing his eyes as if relaxing…

Until eventually he did pass out big time. So we just left him as comfortable as possible... I post some pics from today. Note how Gabriel and Chris got the same haircut. I really think this short cut suits them both… so handsome, the two of them…
