Gabriel and I got at the hospital around 6:30 PM. Chris was awake in his bed and looked very relaxed, almost lethargic. Sure enough, he fell asleep five minutes after our arrival. When he saw me, he lifted his head a little bit and made small sounds but no other major reactions (i.e. smiling). I massaged his hands and wrists as it is much easier to do so when he is asleep - that’s when Chris relaxes everything.

Chris was sleeping very peacefully and as I was barely able to keep my eyes open, I decided to come back after less than an hour visit tonight… We have a 4 day weekend so I should be able to make it up in the next days. I just pray that they will be good days.

Gabriel had a BLAST at my job today as it was Kinds in the Office Day. I posted his picture sitting on my desk.
