Hi, all is good with Chris as he gets ready for his second stem cell injection this afternoon (Wednesday April 2 in Hangzhou, China)... My father is in charge of watching Chris because Gabriel, my mom and I left Hangzhou for a planned week of vacation for Gabriel. We have been expecting this for a long time and I had shown pictures of Disney and Ocean Park and all the fun things we intended to do in Hong Kong. Unfortunately Gabriel has developed a bacterial infection which started off in the early hours of Monday and has since lost so much water through vomiting and diarrhea that he has now been admitted to a hospital. I am spending my 3rd night awake next to him as it has been a constant episode of sponge baths, medication, diapers change, vomiting, etc. He was running a 40.2 C temperature this morning and even now has not stopped loosing water through his stools despite the IV and anti-biotics. I am relieved to finally be in a hospital as I believe he will have better care than in a hotel room with me panicking. At least he is getting fluids through his IV as he was previously refusing to take anything through his mouth. I will update on both Chris and Gabriel as the day unfolds.
